How To Find Lost Parents

Find Lost Parents

Find Lost Parents

Are you wondering how to find lost parents? An alarming number of people have no contact with one or both of their birth parents. Usually this happens when someone is adopted. In that situation, the birth parents are required to completely give up their rights to visit the child and be involved in his or her life. In most cases, an additional birth record is created listing the new adoptive parents with no mention of the biological ones, which can make it difficult to track these people down.

Much of the time adopted children have no idea that they are adopted until they turn 18 (or even older), and once they find out they are overcome with an overwhelming desire to find their real parents. This need is quite understandable.

In other cases, sometimes a father or mother will abandon their family, move far away and start a new life, without maintaining any contact at all with their old family. Many children feel betrayed and confused by this, and may wish to find their parent to reconnect with them or ask them questions.

Fortunately, finding lost parents doesn’t have to be a difficult task. If you can provide a name, you can get started on your search right away. It’s best to have as much information on hand as possible — such as location, birth date, and occupation. But if you lack additional details, it is still possible to find your birth parent… it just might take longer. Searching for a mother may be more difficult because it is possible she has a different surname due to getting married.

By far the best way to track down birth parents is to use a people search engine on the internet such as BirthDetails.com. It’s much faster, cheaper, and more convenient than using Vital Records or other government-based archives. You can perform a search and find the exact person you need in a matter of minutes! Not only can you find out their address and phone number, but you can also “sneak a peak” at their income, home value, and the names of their relatives.

It’s by far the best way to find lost parents. Once you have found out their information, you can contact them and begin to reconnect. It can be an emotional and frightening journey, but you’ll be glad you made it!

Reverse Email Lookups: Protect Your Child Online

Reverse Email Lookup

Reverse Email Lookup

More children now use the internet than ever before. It can serve many useful purposes in your child’s life. They have the ability to look up all sorts of interesting information regarding school projects and activities. If they are stuck on their homework, they can look up help online. Many book reports and research papers are written using information found online (in websites like Wikipedia) as a guide.

Children and teenagers are also crazy about social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace. These websites allow them to connect with their friends and family, play games, and have a lot of fun. Chatting over email and instant messenger is also a popular online activity for children. Most of the time, parents should have nothing to worry about as long as they monitor who their kids are talking to online.

But this is where things can get scary. Strangers may send messages and emails to your children, and most of the time your kids will respond back without putting any thought into the possible danger of the situation. If you have noticed that your child is spending a lot of time online and seems to be exchanging lots of emails or IMs with someone you don’t know, it might be time to run a reverse email lookup.

Very often, child molesters will find out information about your child through their social networking profiles. They will use this information to contact and initiate conversation, and they may even pretend to be another child or a classmate. Many children do not understand the risk that talking to strangers online can pose, so they will usually respond and may even happily reveal details about their life such as their address, etc.

The best action to take in this scenario is to immediately perform a reverse email lookup. This can be done easily online. Simply enter their email address into the database and you will find out details of their registration, such as their full name and address. You can then use their name to conduct a criminal background check and see whether or not they are a sexual offender. If you think they pose a serious risk to your child, you could report them to the police.

Of course, in order to protect your child fully, you must keep a watchful eye on their online activity at all times. Know exactly who they are talking to. Although you may find yourself up against some resistance, try to keep track of all of their online passwords so you can periodically check their accounts to make sure they are not getting into trouble. It’s also important to education them about the risks of going on the internet. Encourage them to keep most of their personal details private on their social networking sites. Explain that talking to strangers on the internet should be treated the same way as talking to strangers in real life — it should be avoided and if there are any concerns, an adult should be informed immediately.

After 27 Years, Man Finds Long Lost Friend

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

1186193_friends_in_vashiWe here at BirthDetails.com recently received word from a man named Joseph Callen from Anchorage, Alaska. He told us his amazing, harrowing story about finding a lost long friend after twenty-seven years, using the people search database on BirthDetails.com! It is definitely an awe-inspiring tale that will warm your heart this Christmas season.

Back in the 1970’s, Joseph Callen worked as an auto mechanic in Reno, Nevada. There, he met a co-worker named David who would become his closest friend and confidant. The two became inseparable, spending each day working together, and hanging out every night after work. This went on for many years, and when David’s daughter was born, he asked Joseph to be the Godfather.

It seemed as though nothing could pull the two a part– but when the autoshop closed down in 1981, both men found themselves out of luck, looking for work that just wouldn’t come. Joseph eventually received word of a diamond drilling job in Alaska, and enticed by the money and opportunity, he took off. He had asked David to come as well, but since David had a wife and a daughter, he opted to stay behind with them and try to find work locally.

Unfortunately for Joseph, once his career in diamond drilling started, he found himself fairly isolated and cut-off from the rest of his friends and family. Letters and phone calls to David continued sporadically for a while, until suddenly Joseph found his letters coming back unopened, and his phone calls unanswered. Naturally, he felt hurt and confused, but had no choice but to shrug it off and continue living and working.

Skip ahead twenty-seven years. Joseph has a permanent residence in Anchorage, and as the holidays approached this season, he found himself feeling lonelier than ever– having been divorced twice, with one estranged son living in Florida. He knew he would be spending Christmas alone.

One night, piqued by curiosity, he went on to his computer and performed a search for “find long lost friends”. BirthDetails.com popped up, so he inputted the name of his long lost friend David, and within minutes was able to find his location and phone number! Excitedly, he dialed the number and found himself talking to a man whose voice he hadn’t heard in twenty-seven years.

Now Joseph is flying to Phoenix, Arizona, where David now lives, to spend Christmas with his former long lost friend and his family. Joseph told us that he’s absolutely thrilled, and had no idea that it was possible to find long lost friends so easily on the internet!

So let this story serve as a reminder this Christmas season: Why not take this opportunity to connect with your long lost friends? You don’t know what you could be missing!
